The focus is on looking after customers small and large, with a staff of 29 very experienced and dedicated people, this is more engineering staff than any other fork truck company within a 300 mile radius, no matter what national name they may carry. WR Forktrucks keep and adhere to all of promises and contractual obligations, there are enough experienced staff to have an engineer, or multiples of engineers on your site within a guaranteed time (another value added service) that cannot be beaten by any other company. Service

Our base in Grimsby is situated alongside the A180/M180 trunk road and with just 29,000 vehicle movements a day, the A180 is typical of the lack of congestion in the area, giving rapid transportation times to the whole of the UK. This acts as the focal point for all service related activities as well as a central depot for our mobile satellite workshops.

By operating a large fleet of ‘mobile work shops’, equipped with the very latest engineering tools and communication technology WR Forktrucks are able to offer a ‘true’ 24 hour, 365 days a year call out service. When this is coupled with the guaranteed response time the complete service package is second to none.

New truck sales

WR Forktrucks are dealers for both Mitsubishi & Samsung Forklift Trucks. These world-renowned manufacturers are at the forefront in forklift technology, in fact Mitsubishi won the 1999 Forktruck Association award for ergonomics.
These dealerships provide access to a range of European built forklift trucks and warehouse equipment which have a world wide reputation for reliability and are built not only thinking of ergonomics and economy, but also the environment.

To complement the Reach Truck range there is the rugged Hamech. The twin drive Hamech being ideal for both cold store or indoor I outdoor operations.

Should you require a specialist machine, or one outside of the Mitsubishi or Samsung Forktruck ranges then any number of various equipment can be supplied at competitive prices. WR Forktrucks are also agents for the MIC range of Hand Pallet Trucks. Second user truck sales

Realising that not all applications justify new equipment, 'second user' equipment can offer a cost-effective answer. A vast array of 'second user' equipment is available, which can only add to the choice of solutions made available to you.
With Second User equipment it is individually refurbished to order and the work is carried out to very exacting standards. This very busy department prepares machines to either a class 'A' or class 'B' standard dependent on the customer requirements.

With a class 'A' the chassis is stripped, shot blasted, tested and painted then rebuild using all new parts. The popular class 'B' refurbishment entails testing the existing parts and replacing where necessary then repainting the machine in either original colours or those chosen by our customer. These machines carry a comprehensive warranty and should one not be available that suits your needs one will be found for you.

Truck hire

A variety of tailor made solutions are available, but listed below are the most popular options;

Casual Hire:

A fleet of over 140 hire machines is operated made up of LPG, Diesel and Electric Counterbalance (including many low profiles), Reach Trucks with masts up to 8.3 metre, Electric Pallet Trucks and Stackers, Hand Pallet Trucks, Tow Tractors and Forklift Truck Attachments. These machines are available for hire from a single day to extended periods.

Contract Hire:

Contract Hire can provide new, used or refurbished equipment to suit customers' needs, with varying lengths of contract. Should there be any special requirements then, subject to contract, the equipment will be purchased to solve this individual situation.

Buy Back & Rehire:
WR Forktrucks will also purchase company’s fleets of forklifts and re-hire them back, replacing any machines as and when the need arises. This gives positive cash flow and enables accurate budgeting.

To maximise the returns on your investment, WR are able to utilise their experience, contacts and buying power to supply Fortktrucks and materials handling solutions from Europe and around the world. A large selection is available which often provides a more cost effective solution with the only pay off being lead time. Aftercare support and warranty can be tailor made to fit your requirements and still fitting into your overall budget.

Continental equipment is made in the same factories by the same manufacturers as UK machinery, they don`t have inferior engines, substandard gearboxes or different wheels, some times colours differ to suit different markets or to make them distinguishable from, but new machines come with CE plates and /or certificates and all come with full lights and mirrors as standard. WR can supply a full range of standard equipment as well as provide solutions for bespoke needs.
